| "Lotus" is the first professional fashion journal in Iran. Attempts have been made to be responsive to the varying expectations of the range of audience of "Lotus", which includes women, girls, newly weds as well as government and non-governmental organizations, airlines, travel agencies, etc. In addition to general design for day and night wear, "Lotus" presents designs consistent with social and career requirements of each profession. Designers at "Lotus" take pride in their commitment to adapt Iranian national clothing that is enriched with more than 6000 years of history with modern fashion. Their objective is to promote the awareness of Iranian women about the rich potential in Iran's long lasting culture on the one hand, and to make it possible to be fashionable while remaining true to the social and career requirements of different professions. "Lotus" has enjoyed the support and cooperation of a large number of students of designs and arts to accomplish its task.
